We were delighted to be invited to host the auction on the 26th October, on behalf of the Lincoln & South Lincolnshire Age UK team, at their Diamond Ball event.
The night was filled with fun and laughter with a very strong attendance. All to help raise money for such an important cause.
Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire are a local independent charitable organisation and a part of the Age UK federation. They are dedicated to amongst other things providing a high quality of services and support to the over 50’s in their area, along with close surrounding areas. This is to ensure those people get the most from life and are able to meet new people.
William Gregory MRICS took to the rostrum on this excellent evening to a packed room at the Doubletree Hilton on the Brayford. The auction of a “007” theme consisted of 7 lots, all to go under the hammer.
These include a Typhoon Sim Experience, Vivienne Westwood handbag, Manchester United Tickets, VIP entry to Home nightclub, iPad, a stay at the Lincoln Hilton and Skegness aquarium tickets. All of which helped raise a grand total of £1,990 under the hammer. The fundraising did not stop there with further funds successfully being raised throughout the evening.
