The name Harley Davidson evokes images of large black gleaming choppers, with biker gangs wearing leather jackets and sporting alternative facial hair. The iconic American manufacturer of motorcycles was founded in 1903 and is still today a major producer of motorbikes, parts and apparel.
The Bourne saleroom proudly hosts a quarterly combined automobilia and toy sale in the former BRM workshop, where if you are a fan of cars, motorbikes, or are a keen Harley enthusiast, you can pick up related items either in person or with the click of a button at goldingyoung.com.
The forthcoming automobilia sale held in April is offering for sale a full size wooden replica of a Harley Davidson. Formerly taking pride of place in a garage window in Stamford, the bike is a fantastic piece of handiwork, hand carved to be as realistic as possible- and yes the wheels do rotate! Currently on display in our reception area, why not pop along to have a look.
If a full size item is not within your budget, or if there is limited space at home, a scale model may be the answer. A DeAgostini scale model of a Harley Davidson motorcycle for example sold for £150 in a previous specialist auto and toy sale. Or you may prefer an enamel sign instead, one such example sold for £20 back in 2018. If however you are in the market for something with a bit of power, a Harley Davidson trike sold for £4000 in a past automobilia sale, which will get you a lot further than the model currently on view!
