The sale features a collection of over twenty Royal Crown Derby paperweights consigned from a South Yorkshire Estate, all with their correct gold buttons and to include some limited release pieces, there is a wide range of animals and designs on offer.
Consigned from a local deceased estate is an unusual collection of clocking in clocks and timer clocks. A number of the pieces were used in local businesses from the 1920s onwards, with the actual recording cards also in the sale.
One of the more unusual items on sale is a modern pub table, designed in the form of a darts board. It is signed by thirteen well known professional darts players, to include Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, Michael Van Gerwen, Raymond Van Barneveld, and Bobby George.
For the large family at Christmas we have a circular dining table, possibly made by the well known maker Arthur Brett of Norwich; it has the unusual flexibility of having leaves that clip onto the existing very large top, making it possibly sit between twelve and sixteen people. It will be sold with its own dining table leaf cabinet and is expected to make in excess of £1500 in the sale on the 18th November.
The sale of over twelve hundred lots also has its typical mix of silver and jewellery to include gem set rings, gold chains and watches, to include Rolex, ceramics to include Staffordshire figures, Beswick and Royal Doulton figurines and a set of Albany Worcester cricketing figures.
