Paul joined the Bourne team in January 2025.
He previously worked at the Grantham saleroom from summer 2023 to the spring of 2024.
Paul started his auction career in 1994 at Chiswick Auctions.
Starting in 1994 as a Porter, quickly learned how to catalogue and value.
In 1998 he joined Academy Auctioneers and Valuers in Ealing becoming Saleroom Manager and Auctioneer. During this time filming for 'Auction House', an ITV programme shown over a period of six weeks.
From 1998-2002 there was a brief change in career, but the pull of auctions soon drew him back in. He was appointed Saleroom Manager at Batemans of Stamford from 2008-2013.
A Valuer's position then opened up at Willingham Auctions in Cambridgeshire, for which Paul was appointed between 2013-2019 & for a second short spell in 2024.
A short stint as Auctioneer & Valuer at Ewbank's Auctions Surrey was shortly followed by his appointment as Saleroom Manager at Grantham.
Paul is a General Valuer, with specific interest in Paintings, Militaria and Silver.
